Michael I Weinstein is a part of the faculty/co-PI in the Columbia Optics and Quantum Electronics IGERT, funded by the National Science Foundation. His research interests are in the areas of partial differential equations, applied analysis, dynamical systems and their role in the study of waves and multiscale phenomena in inhomogeneous and random media.
